Windows, by Joshua Rito

Window, by Benjamin Foster

A lone window in the city, broken,

brings his friends to play.

Among themselves they lay

in the open.

More friends join the fun,

a chance to relax together.

They were all once so tense in the past,

separated.

All you see is time in the city

pass in darkness.

Broken windows have hearts

they know the fun cannot last.

He gets his friends back home,

but he stays,

In the city, a broken window

Alone.
